Review: Kayman Rosa Glow Essence


First time I know about this product it was in 2018. But I only know about their Charcoal Soap and I'm feeling doubt and not interested in the local brand at those time. Plus, I've been experienced using skincare that contains charcoal and I'm not really satisfied with the result. Therefore, I'm not really interested. 2019, I got so bad breakout and then I just want to give it try because I gave up to try drugstore product, so why not we just give it try?!

What it claims:

Rosa Glow Treatment Essence is a brightening essence, formulated with 8 finest ingredients. This essence has a thinner and more watery consistency but packed with active ingredients to help brighten your skin, even out your skin tone, firm the skin, and help with the dark spots. With the help 2% of Alpha Arbutin, you can say bye-bye to the dark spots and scars!

Ingredients:

Water, Cucumber Extract, Glycerine, BeeTox-H, Xanthan Gum, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Alpha Arbutin, Phenoxyethanol

How to use:












  • Cleanse the face with your favourite cleanser and pat dry.
  • Pour the essence onto a cotton pad or onto your palms and gently dab over forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and neck.
  • Once absorbed, follow with your desired moisturizer.

    My honest review:

    I got worst breakout during October 2019, so I decided to buy this essence and hoping that my breakout will cure. My first impression about this essence, I'm so impressed because the result was so instantly. I got redness and feel so stingy after finish my curriculums. After that, I quickly grab the essence and apply it on my face using 7 layers method. Surprisingly after a few hours, I noticed my swollen acne and my redness look calmer.

    So I keep using this product and I put high expectation on this essence lol.. but I'm wrong, my breakout is getting worst until one day I gave up. Therefore, I stop for a while to use the essence. I went to the dermatologist and get some medicines to cure my acne. Almost 1 month I stop using any skincare, I just use cream and cleanser from the hospital.

    After my acne/breakout started to recover/getting better I continue to use this essence. Alhamdulillah, my skin reacted so well on it. So here I put some pictures before and after, let the picture describe it.


    It took me over a month/one-half month to get this result. It's quite faster than I've expected. Maybe I quickly treat my acne scars as soon as my acne recedes. That's why my acne scars quickly recovered. Oh before I forgot, I also use this essence by layering it 7 times and I don't use any brightening skincare except this essence. I don't wear moisturizer and so on because my skin was so sensitive at those time. But a friendly reminder, please do not skip sunscreen! Sunscreen is essential. Your skincare routine may don't work on your skin if you didn't use sunscreen. 

    Overall(Pros):
    • I'm so satisfied with the result
    • I love how it can calming my face
    • I love their minimal ingredients so it's so sensitive skin-friendly 
    • I love the packaging it looks so exclusive
    • Enough hydration for those who have oily to combination skin type 
    Cons:
    • The price is quite pricey. How I wish the HQ will make a discount of more than 10%.
    • I am a dry skin type. I guess one application is not enough for my skin. Now I often apply 2 layers. But it doesn't matter for me as long the result is boom plus I also have another product to add on my hydration.
    Recommend:

    Highly recommended for people that suffering from acne scars/redness/dullness. It's also suitable for all skin type including sensitive skin type. But bear in mind, for those who have extremely sensitive/acne-prone skin please do the taste patch first. Don't be like me, because it contains alpha-arbutin which act as a brightening function. As you know, people who suffer from acne-prone skin it's better to avoid using brightening skincare but some people can go with it. Like mine? I can't.
